Anima: a breathing guide

This is a project I've been meaning to publish for almost four years now. It has been live on a subdomain for just as long, only that I haven't written anything about it. It is named Anima.

This is a project I've been meaning to publish for almost four years now. It has been live on a subdomain for just as long, only that I haven't written anything about it. It is named Anima. It was finished in May 2017 as a project in high school. It is designed as a breathing guide to help one calm down. Parts of it could be done better, but it does the job well even though the user experience is somewhat lacking. Once you load the website you are met with two options; either you can go straight to the application or have an introduction to its functionality. The principle is to follow the expanding and then shrinking, expanding, then shrinking, circle with your breath for as long as you please. This motion functions as a guide for breathing, imagining how the lungs expand and then contract; with each inhale and exhale in a strive for inner serenity.

The web-application is completely free to use and can be accessed anytime at [breathing.viktoraron.com](https://www.breathing.viktoraron.com).
